Happy Birthday Max

The joy of crayons! I saw a box of crayons and bought them impulsively, with the idea of making Max a unique card for his 18th. I thought that it would be cool to get a sheet of paper and just completely cover every last bit of it with crayon. This was the product of my sketchings on other bits of paper. Text first, then sun of course. The crow, because I needed something in the sky, and as a tribute to James O'Barr. The purple cat for Catt. The daisy since kids draw these sorts of things. And that's it. All very simple.

I'm afraid that it doesn't come out that well at this scale (the crow especially). Of course, I had to shrink it to fit within a page. That, and a full scale scan would be hideously huge in file size. Mind you, if you have a powerful connection and don't mind waiting for the picture to come out, you could actually take a look at a 90% scaled copy of the original scan file. Be warned, though, the picture itself is about 1.22MB in size. Not small. In fact, any bigger and my host wouldn't allow me to upload it (hence why the enlarged pic is not a 100% scale copy).
