Unexpected Developments (Fucked in the Head)

Cancer, they tell me, is growing in my brain.
Death, they say, is coming yet expect me to stay sane.
Mercy, I beg them, but pity's all they give.
Mercy, I beg God, but He'll not let me live.
I can't believe that it should be this way;
They tell me I should try.

I'm too young to die        I'm too young to die
I'm too young to die        I'm too young to die
I'm too young to die        I'm too young to die
I'm too young to die        I'm too young to die

Tumours, they tell me, are growing in my head.
Life, they say, is leaving and that I will soon be dead.
Help me, but they say they're powerless to save.
Help me, but God stays as silent as the grave.
I can't believe that I'll be left this way;
They tell me I should try.

I'm too young to die        I'm too young to die
I'm too young to die        I'm too young to die
I'm too young to die        I'm too young to die
I'm too young to die        I'm too young to die

I'm too young to die        I'm too young to die
I'm too young to die        I'm too young to die
I'm too young to die        I'm too young to die
I'm too young to die        I'm too young to die

This one started with the chorus, and grew backwards. I liked the contrast between the couplets, the contrast between the verses, and the contrast between the sentiments behind this song and Inevitability. Look at the similarity between the titles as well; compare Inevitability (Go Fuck Yourself) with Unexpected Developments (Fucked in the Head). As to the title, I lay all responsibility and respect on Sam Wybrow for the phrase "fucked in the head". You're the man, Sam. Oh, and in case anyone wonders, I don't have brain cancer that I know of.
