Khaos
Before the dawn of time, there was just a shapeless void that was called Chaos; a state in which zero, one, and infinity are the same. At some point, which could be considered to be at the dawn of time, Chaos shaped a thought and thus created Gaea. From this point on, Gaea is considered in charge of creation, and Chaos plays no further role. Chaos exists only as a beginning and an end: from Chaos do all things spring and all things to Chaos shall return.
Chaos was also considered to be the progenitor of the two siblings, Erebus and Nyx.
